Data protection

Trust is important, especially when it comes to your data. This is why we are committed to protecting your personal data. We consider it our duty to manage your data with the utmost care and to do everything we can to protect your information against unauthorised use. Any processing of your data is carried out according to legal provisions (General Data Protection Regulation GDPR, Telecommunication Act TKG 2003). In this data protection statement, we are going to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in relation to our website.

Contact us

If you contact us via the form on our website or by email, your entered data are saved in our data bases for a duration of six months, for processing your request and in case of any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We process personal data that we receive from you as part of a business relationship. For the purpose of registering for our seminars, free evening functions and for subsequent contract handling, we ask for the name, address, email address and possible company affiliation of the participant.
In addition to this, the following data are also stored for the purpose of contract processing: Name, company, address, phone number, email address. The data provided by you is required for performing the contract or for pre-contract activities. Without these data, we are not able to conclude a contract with you. No data will be transferred to any third parties.
All saved data are deleted if a registration process for a seminar / an evening function is abandoned. In the case that a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship are saved until the end of the mandatory tax-related retention period.
Data processing is performed pursuant to the legal provisions of Chapter 96 Art. 3 TKG as well as Chapter 6 Art. 1 Sec. a (approval) and/or Sec. b (required for performing a contract) GDPR.

Who will receive your data?

Within the itl group, your data is available to staff members who require the data for fulfilling contractual and legal duties and for safeguarding legitimate interests. In addition to this, your data will be provided to contract data processors (in particular IT and back office service providers, for example for sending out Christmas cards) tasked by us, provided that these require your data for performing their respective tasks. All contract data processors are contractually bound to treat your data confidentially, and to process it for the purpose of providing the service only.

For how long will your data be stored and processed?

Your data will be saved within the itl group for the entire duration of the business relationship (from initial contact via processing through to completing a contract) as well as beyond this period, in line with legal retention and documentation duties. These are based on the Austrian Commercial Code UGB, as well as other sources.
Furthermore, the legal limitation periods must be taken into account regarding the duration of storage, these are based, for example, on the Austrian Civil Code ABGB.
